Accord Ambassadors and members of North East Lincolnshire CCG’s Patient Advice and Liaison Team (PALS) joined together to launch ‘The Listening Shop’ on 5th December in the courtyard area of Freeman Street Market.
Members of the community were able to drop- in and talk to us about Accord and share their experiences of health and social care in North East Lincolnshire.
New members were recruited by our Accord Ambassadors and the PALS team were busy hearing the experiences of our local community. There were plenty of cups of tea being poured and a lovely festive atmosphere in the courtyard.
One of our Accord Ambassadors and the Chair of the Accord Steering Group, Trevor Brooks said “It was good to get out and meet people to talk about Accord and the NHS at our first listening shop. We hope that more people will come along to the next listening shop event which will be held in February at the Roxton Practice in Immingham from 10am until 12pm”.
