Young Minds Matter survey

The Young Advisors inspection team are young people who have been trained as Young Advisors and are experienced in representing the views of children and young people in our area such as consultations including Your Voice Your Vote, interviewing staff working with young people, representing the priorities for young people on boards and giving regular speeches to Full Council. They are supported by staff who are specialist in the theme of the inspection or in supporting young people’s voice and influence.  None of the young people or staff supporting the inspection are connected to Young Minds Matter directly or via relatives.

We are gathering the views and experiences of young people (and their parent/carers) who have accessed or tried to access the services of Young Minds Matter in North East Lincolnshire.  Young Advisors inspection team will share their findings along with recommendations for what the service might do as a result and will also report the findings to the Safeguarding Children Partnership board.

What we need from you

  • We would like to hear your views and experiences if you are (or are a parent/carer of a young person) aged 11-18 years with experience of ‘Young Minds Matter’ (the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service for North East Lincolnshire)
  • We would like you to share your views on the service, what they did well, what could be improved and how.
  • This will take approx. 5 minutes of your time depending on how much you have to say.
  • Your views with others will be included anonymously as part of a report to the YMM service and the Safeguarding Children Partnership Board to inform actions for the future of services.
