General Practice Nursing Awards 2018

The General Practice Nursing Awards 2018 are soon to take place.
We would like to inform you of the opportunity to nominate North East Lincolnshire Practice Nurses for this event.
The Award categories are:
The judges are seeking nominations from patients, carers or members of the public who have been impressed with the care they have received.
The judges are seeking nominations from practice nurses who consistently deliver confident contemporary care and who consistently perform above what is considered as the ‘norm’ for their peer group.
3. Healthcare Practitioner of the Year
The judges are seeking nominations from Healthcare Practitioners who consistently deliver confident contemporary care and who consistently perform above what is considered as the ‘norm’ for their peer group.
4. Rising Star (Practice Nurse less than 2 years’ experience)
This award is open to Practice Nurses with less than 2 years’ experience who are developing their delivery of confident contemporary primary care and who are consistently performing above what is considered as the ‘norm’ for their peer group.
The judges are seeking nominations from practice nurses who consistently deliver confident contemporary care and who consistently perform above what is considered as the ‘norm’ for their peer group.
The judges are seeking nominations from practice nursing teams who consistently deliver confident contemporary care and who consistently perform above what is considered as the ‘norm’ for their peer group.
7. Practice Nurse Mentor of the Year
This award is to recognise the inspirational support given to student nurses on placement in primary care.
8. Practice Nurse Preceptor of the Year
This award is to recognise the inspirational support given to student nurses on placement in primary care.
Nominations can be made by anyone and must be made on the appropriate forms (links to these are above) and returned electronically to: england.gpnawards@nhs.net
The deadline for nomination submissions is: FRIDAY 2nd FEBRUARY 2018
The Humber Coast and Vale (HCV) event takes place in Willerby week commencing 26th February 2018 and any North East Lincolnshire Practice Nurses who win a category at this HCV event automatically go through to the Regional Yorkshire & Humber event on March 21st 2018.
