On Saturday 28^th November 2020, local clinicians at the Roxton Practice, and NHS North East Lincolnshire CCG came together to host a digital event for patients with long term conditions. The event was hosted to provide information to patients with conditions such as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) to help them to manage their conditions during the winter months.

Patients from the Roxton Practice were invited to watch the event using Zoom and were given the opportunity to take part in a question and answer session with clinicians. The presenters included Dr James Cowling; and Dr Lee Guest – GP’s at the Roxton Practice in Immingham, who discussed what COPD patients can do to help keep themselves fit and healthy during the cold winter months. The event closed with a video from local chef Rachel Green, who demonstrated how to cook a couple of quick and healthy meals.
