Healthwatch NEL are currently working on a project regarding the barriers people are experiencing  in accessing NHS health checks and they are looking at whether people who are entitled to an NHS health check are getting them as frequently as they are supposed to, and whether every aspect of the checks are being carried out as they are required to.

The Groups they are looking at are:

• 40-74 year olds
• 75+ year olds
• People with Diabetes/Asthma/Learning Disability
