Do you want to join our Council of Governors and help improve and develop local hospital and community services?

Nominations are open for our governor elections and we’re looking for people who want to help us shape services for the next generation and beyond.

We provide acute hospital services and community services to a population of more than 450,000 people across a wide geographical area which includes North and North East Lincolnshire, East Riding of Yorkshire and West and East Lindsey.

We’re ambitious and want to do more so we are working on a programme to change our clinical services and to secure, hopefully, significant investment to further improve our estate and buildings.

Role of a governor

Our governors act as a link between patients, the public and our Board of Directors.

We’re looking for people to represent their local constituency in Goole and Howdenshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. There are eight seats available.

The deadline for nominations is 5pm on 11 October 2022.  Voting opens 28 October 2022 and closes on 18 November 2022. Results will be announced on 21 November 2022.
