Getting Better Together 2021 Report

On Wednesday 15th September, North East Lincolnshire CCG (NELCCG) held it's fourth virtual event of 2021. 33 members of the public, Accord members, and representatives of local organisations joined the Zoom webinar ‘Getting Better Together 2021’ to hear about the latest work on the future structure of the Integrated Care Board (ICB), Primary Care Networks , and the health and care system in North East Lincolnshire.

CCG Chief Executive, Rob Walsh, discussed the “Development of the Humber, Coast & Vale ICS/ICB,” and what the reorganisation of the NHS means for us here in North East Lincolnshire.

Helen Kenyon, Chief Operating Officer at the CCG and Jane Lewington Chief Executive of NAViGO, provided a presentation on the development of the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) in our patch.

Bev Compton, Director of Adult Services, North East Lincolnshire CCG, presented on the Adult Social Care Day Opportunities Review in North East Lincolnshire. Bev talked about the purpose of the review; why it is taking place and how people can get involved.

Sarah Dawson, CCG Service Lead for Primary Care presented an update on the development of Primary Care Networks in NEL and the services they are commissioned to deliver.

The event closed with a question-and-answer session, giving people the opportunity to quiz our local health and care leaders. A wide range of topics were covered in the questions including the funding, future commissioning, and strategy. You can read the questions, and answers, by clicking here
